OLD SOUTH took the Award of Merit – i.e. the best documentary – at the 70th annual University Film & Video Association Conference, held in Las Vegas.
This award was juried by peers; other film professors. It’s a huge honor!

Silver Springs International Film Festival has programmed OLD SOUTH. It will screen in a double feature alongside my Northwestern University in Qatar colleague Christina Paschyn’s documentary, titled “A Struggle for Home: Crimean Tatars”.
