Library of Congress archives Petunia Productions documentaries

The Library of Congress and WGBH, the flagship public television station in Boston, have archived Danielle Beverly’s feature documentaries Old South and Learning to Swallow into their permanent collections. The films are available for research purposes at the American Archive of Public Broadcasting.

The New City has unveiled its Film 50 2020 Chicago Screen Gems. Director Danielle Beverly ranked as #20 within a list of extraordinary local film colleagues. Ray Pride authored the article, and Sally Blood photographed each “Gem” at The Gene Siskel Film Center.
